The City of Tarpon Springs, FL Selects QUICK® for Mobile Solutions

The City of Tarpon Springs, FL selected QUICK® to extend their inventory stores, fixed asset physical inventory, potable water work order processing and waste water work order processing to wireless mobile computers.  Their goal?  Eliminate redundant paperwork, track inventory and assets, improve efficiency and increase accuracy.  All mobile computers are connected to the City’s ERP system online in real time!  If for some reason a mobile computer is not within range of a wireless network, it still allows processing to continue and stores all transactions on the device until it is back online.  The end result is a mobile system that streamlines operations and increases productivity while saving time and money!

Tarpon Springs is a city in Pinellas County, Florida, United States. The population was 23,484 at the 2010 census.  Tarpon Springs has the highest percentage of Greek Americans of any city in the US.  After the discovery of natural sponge beds in the early 1900s, Greek sponge divers arrived in Tarpon Springs. The main attraction of Tarpon Springs then became its famous Sponge Docks, which are set along the Anclote River.
